Free SSL certificates and HTTPS Print

How it works

Every domain on your hosting gets a free SSL certificate, issued and renewed automatically. You don't need to buy or install anything.

A new domain usually gets its certificate within a few hours of pointing to our nameservers.

Sending visitors to HTTPS

  1. Log in to cPanel and open Domains.
  2. Turn on Force HTTPS Redirect for your domain.

For WordPress, also check that both addresses under Settings > General start with https://.

If the padlock doesn't show

  • Check the domain points to our nameservers. Certificates can't be issued until it does.
  • In cPanel, open SSL/TLS Status and click Run AutoSSL.
  • A "not fully secure" warning usually means a page loads an image or script over http://. Update those links to https://.
